Respectful Aftercare for Your Beloved Pet

Deciding what happens after your pet passes is an important part of saying goodbye. Many families are unsure of their options, and that’s okay. Dr. Buchanan will explain each choice during your in-home euthanasia visit, and our team will handle the details with care, so you can focus on your family.

Private Cremation

With private cremation, your pet is cremated individually and their ashes are returned to you. Families can choose from a variety of urns, from simple and elegant designs to personalized memorial pieces. Private cremation allows you to keep your pet close, scatter their ashes in a meaningful place, or include them in a memorial garden.

Group Cremation

With group cremation, several pets are cremated together with the same respect and dignity, and ashes are not returned. This option is often chosen by families who do not wish to keep ashes but want their pet cared for respectfully.

Respectful Transportation

We coordinate gentle, dignified transportation of your pet from your home to our cremation partner, Resting Rainbow, so you never have to make that trip yourself. Resting Rainbow also uses a tracking system to ensure every step is transparent.

Keepsakes and Memorials

Ink or clay paw prints, urns, and other memorial products help families keep their pet’s memory close. You are also welcome to share your companion’s story on our pet memorials page, and our pet loss grief resources can help your family through the grieving process.
