Dr. Buchanan was incredibly caring and compassionate when she came to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved dog. She patiently explained every step of the process and gave my family and me the reassurance we so desperately needed that it was the right time.
She sat with us and allowed us the time and space to say our goodbyes, treating both our dog and our family with such kindness and dignity. Even afterward, she sent us a beautiful card, which meant so much to us during such a difficult time.

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Buchanan. It is clear that she has a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of how incredibly difficult this process is for families. Dr. Buchanan was beyond exceptional and provided us with the best experience. I'm a pediatric nurse with experience in end of life care, where enjoying life is important,  but, equally as important is for a good death too. She made this a reality for our dog and family. From explaining the process, medications and expected  changes in our Dog , it allowed our kids to understand without me having to explain it. This allowed me to be able to be present in the process. Dr. Buchanan was amazing. Having to call someone for this reason was hard enough, dr Buchanan made it that much easier on my heart. She walked us through and allowed us time to grieve. Dr. Buchanan was absolutely the best with handling our baby boy cooper. We arebsi happy we choose this route to get him the help to cross the rainbow bridge.
