Misty Charles – CORNBREAD

The compassionate Dr Buchanan assisted sweet Cornbread with his peaceful passing over the Rainbow Bridge while in the comfort of his home surrounded by so much love. His mom Misty shared the following about her experience and some beautiful photos of her handsome boy.

I had to tell you how thankful I am for you and Sugars gift and for what you do for so many. Dr Buchanan was an absolute angel. I’ve included pics of our sweet boy, Cornbread. His passing was so peaceful thanks to everyone at Sugars Gift.

Our Sugar’s Gift family is truly honored to be able to be there when these angels and their families need us most.

Morgan Guinart – BLUE

The kind and sympathetic Dr Buchanan assisted the sweet and handsome Blue with his peaceful passing over the Rainbow Bridge while surrounded by love at home. His mom Morgan had a beautiful tribute to share for her boy.

We rescued Blue when he was 10 months old. We were his third family. His size was a deal breaker for others but for us he was a perfect fit. He is larger than life and the gentlest giant you’d ever meet. The way he watched over his human boys is something I’ll never forget. His mile wide smile and happy feet stampeding to greet us at the door is something I’ll never stop missing. He loved the beach and was a great swimmer. I swear Blue knew english and could understand every word ever spoken to him. He loved napping in the sun. Especially when one of the boys plopped down beside him to bask too. He was a big dreamer. Always galloping somewhere in his sleep. Even in the end.

In the final months of his life, we got to repay him for taking such good care of us and being the goodest boy by fulfilling all of his needs and his demands. Caring for a senior dog that is bigger than you is no easy feat. Blue taught us true compassion and patience and made me stronger ( lifting him many many maaany times day and night ). It was a complete honor to do so. Watching him lose control of his body and his strength was the hardest part of all. His body aged faster than his spirit ever would.

What a big, wonderful life we have had with our Blue. He is and will always be loved tremendously.
